The Orchard-Park São Uriel
Located near the São Clemente Farm’s headquarter, it has an area of approximately 96.000m2. The plantations started in March of 1991 defining the boundaries of the Park. Only five trees were found then and they still have been preserved until today.
It is worth noting two features of the Orchard-Park SãoUriel: it is a germplasm bank of palms and it consists the concept “Orchard-Park”.
The Orchard-Park SãoUriel is the biggest protector of the species of palm trees Maria Rosa (Syagrus macrocarpa), in Brazil, the Atlantic Forest pervasive species threatened by extinction.
